Class of 2016, are You Ready To Enter The Storm? This next year is going to one you are never going to forget. With new facilities, equipment and a new resurgence of intensity; we are ready to take you to you the next step in realising your dreams. Lace up, hold your breath and get ready to enter the storm.

Yesterday we wre invited by the Stormers to train together with them as part of their preparation for the up and coming fixture aginast the Cheetahs. The oppurtunity to train with the best team in the country was taken with  both hands.

The session was exciting and interactive with Stormers Captain Duane Vermeulen taking the leading coaching role for our team to run against the Stormers. The Stormers bench players joined our team for the session as we ran in the attacking and defensive maps. This interaction made for a truly unique experience.

With Paul Treu and our own Anton Moolman directing our plays we had a solid platform for which to impress the senior side contributing to a productive session for the Stormers.

After our field session the the entire WPRA squad were given a tour of the HPC by current  Stormers and HPC manager Chippie Solomons. He took us through the facility showing us unique WP Rugby traditions and all the routines the players go through on a daily basis. A truely unforgettable day that we hope will happen again.

Our players left there motivated and inspired with a new outlook on exactly what it takes to “Realise Their Dreams”

Thanks to all the Stormers players and coaching staff for having us down and accepting us as one of their own so easily.

The day we have all been waiting for has now finally arrived. Arguably the two strongest rugby fraternities meet for first of many excursions to happen throughout 2015; in Stellenbosch and the stakes couldn’t be any higher. It has been a tough and gruelling 2 months at the WPRA as the boys have been pushing hard and training on other levels to be able to meet the game with the intensity and physicality it deserves. There will be no bars held, no leashes strained and no quarters given; this is truly going to be a massive collision of WP aggression.
