Western Province Rugby Academy 2015 Year in Recap.

Our year as an academy is coming to an end and we want to show the world what it takes to be a prat of our unique high performance program; that we believe is unrivalled anywhere around the world. Our innovative conditioning approach, coupled by the hard-nosed unrelenting coaching prowess we possess; produces the type of athlete that is capable of entering any Rugby Environment. WP Rugby Academy v WP Rugby Institute

The boys played a very tightly contested game today against the Western Province Rugby Institute in the searing heat. Both teams have been preparing for the upcoming U19/U21 selection and we as an academy have instrumented a regimented approach towards getting our boys ready and prepared to stake a claim for these spots. As an academy we have been implemented to add major depth at the junior levels and we continue to do so. Today we took a massive step towards that in winning the game 21-19. A big thanks to the our brothers from the Institute for making the trip down south.

Class of 2015 are you ready for the journey of a lifetime?

On the 19th of January 2015 we will commence our second year as an academy with our new and exciting intake. We look to welcome the players and parents alike to our opening ceremony at the home of the WPRA, Athlete Development Centre in the Tokai Forest.

We are extremely excited to hit the ground running looking forward an action packed 2015.
