At the Western Province Rugby Academy we constantly try to expose players to high performance environments. In order to achieve these environments, top quality coaching is essential. For the past 3 years the WPRA players have been exposed to great coaching and sometimes to International level coaching through our relationship with World Rugby and our extensive coaches network. These training sessions allow players to experience different coaching philosophies, coaching styles and feedback styles from around the world.

The WPRA gives players the ability to adapt, understand and fit into any team structure, irrespective to the type of coaching or coach they are exposed to. The ability to be easily “coached” as a player is an extremely important characteristic of any high level rugby player, a characteristic/skill that is emphasized here at the WPRA.
